In the wood
The furniture in the Riva 1920 - designer furniture from Italy collection is made of solid wood from reforestation zones. The types of wood used are: maple, cherry, oak, and walnut. Characteristic for Riva 1920 is reutilized wood, e.g. the thousand-year-old Kauri from New Zealand, briccole from the Venetian Lagoon, and the fragrant Lebanese cedar.
Riva 1920 works closely with more than 100 designers (like Renzo Piano, Michele de Lucchi, Karim Rashid, Mario Botta, Paolo Pininfarina, Matteo Thun, Terry Dwan, Alessandro Mendini, Marc Sadler, Giuliano Cappelletti und Claudio Bellini) who give new life to wood.
